Founded in 1948, this year marks our 71st season of providing the youth of Mississippi with exciting, engaging, rewarding, and professional orchestral music instruction and performance opportunity.
MYSO meets weekly on Saturdays on the campus of Millsaps College.

The Spring 2020 Season Has Been Canceled.
Out of an abundance of caution for the spread of the corona virus, MYSO has made the decision to cancel our remaining spring season including our Spring Concert scheduled on April 5, 2020.
In an effort to reduce risk on campus and to protect the health and safety of their community, Millsaps is also taking a number of actions designed to help limit coronavirus exposure including canceling all community programs and gatherings such as MYSO
