Allegretto Orchestra
The Allegretto Orchestra is MYSO’s preparatory-level ensemble, where young musicians build on beginner skills—notes, posture, and bowing techniques like spiccato (bouncing bow) and staccato (short, detached notes)—while learning to play in an orchestral setting. Students explore new rhythms, key signatures, and musical styles through a wider range of repertoire.​​
What to Expect:

4 hours of weekly classes designed for young musicians with 2 or more years of experience on their instrument
