We are currently taking auditions for a traditional woodwind quintet which includes
Flute, Clarinet, Oboe, Bassoon, and French Horn positions!​

What to Expect:

Woodwinds Ensemble is designed for students who have moved beyond the beginner level and are ready to deepen their ensemble and technical playing skills.

Students must audition for this group.

Traditional Woodwind Quartet instruments: Flute, Clarinet, Oboe, Bassoon.

Led by professional musicians and experienced educators who provide individual and group coaching.

Students are integrated into the full Mississippi Youth Symphony Orchestra, allowing them to collaborate with string, brass, and percussion players in a full-orchestra experience.

Participate in multiple performances throughout the season in a variety of venues across the local area and throughout the state, gaining valuable real-world performance experience.
