Music Requirements
Musicians should be able to play the corresponding scale and a short selection of their choice for participation.
Please follow the music requirements below for each orchestra level.
Allegretto Orchestra
A Major Scale Octave
Scherzo Ensemble
2-3 minutes of your best playing and the scale listed below slurring notes by two (i.e. play two notes connected in one bow)
Your audition will be used in determining ensemble seatings.
Violin:
Two - Three octaves of the D Major or G Major scale
Viola:
Two - Three octaves of the C major scale
Cello:
Two - Three octaves of the C major scale
Bass:
Two - Three octaves of the E major scale
