Music Requirements
Musicians should be able to play the corresponding scale and a short selection of their choice for participation.
Scherzo Ensemble
2-3 minutes of your best playing and the scale listed below slurring notes by two
(i.e. play two notes connected in one bow)
Your audition will be used in determining ensemble seatings.
Violin:
2-3 octaves of the D Major or G Major scale
Viola:
2-3 octaves of the C major scale
Cello:
2-3 octaves of the C major scale
Bass:
2-3 octaves of the E major scale​​
