MYSO Repertoire
MYSO has played a wide and varied repertoire to all types of audiences. Our conductors strive to select music that is artistically appealing, challenging, and beneficial to the skill mastery and orchestral development of our musicians while also inspiring, engaging, and entertaining our audiences.
Below is the list of music our orchestras have performed over the last several seasons. You may use this as a gauge for preparing your audition. Also note that we teach and stress proper technique and skill development at each level of our orchestras and set no prescribed music level as an indication of musical attainment. Our conductors consider a combination of prior skill mastery, technique, and musicality.
